Novabrite Lighting Sdn. Bhd. (702136-D), incorporated on July 7, 2005 with an authorized capital of RM5.0 million and an initial issued and paid-up capital of RM4.0 million, is the first and only High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamp manufacturer in the ASEAN region capable of producing all the major types of HID lamps
HID lamps are designed for public (streets / highway) lighting and for large area lighting and are essentially a social amenity to ensure safety and security at night. These lamps are hitherto imported from other countries.

The product range includes three major types of HID Lamps:

• High Pressure Sodium Vapour
• High Pressure Mercury Vapour
• Metal Halide Lamps.

The factory is located in Shah Alam, Malaysia and full-fledged sophisticated computerized quality testing laboratory equipment (from G.E.) for testing and evaluating every aspect of lamp electrical, photometrical parameters and performance to ensure conformance to world-class quality standards. In August 2008 , NOVABRITE LIGHTING became an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified company.

NOVABRITE LIGHTING has full technical co-operation with G.E. for supply of maintenance-spares for G.E. machinery. Recognizing the importance of the high technology involved, the company has been accorded ‘Pioneer Status’ by the Government of Malaysia. The annual production capacity of the plant is over one million lamps on single shift basis for the present product mix covering over 21 types / wattage / shape of lamps. This range covers the large requirements of Malaysia and neighbouring countries.NOVABRITE LIGHTING aims at making available world-class HID lamps at short notice and at reasonable prices.
